Here we will address D&I specifically – each session in this track will examine best practices for creating a D&I department, how to build a diverse and inclusive team, why diversity in tech is more than just gender, role plays and specific training.
We will be looking at how to close the pay gap, the best talent attraction tools to create a diverse team and how to engineer and inclusive and equal culture.
Taking Charge of your Future
This track is perfect for attendees who are looking to upskill, learn more about and/or advance in the tech sector. Perhaps you haven’t yet started your career, or are early on in your career, and are looking for advice on how to identify your dream job, what employers look for, or how to successfully transition from university to the professional workplace.
Sessions in this track are also designed for the more experienced professional looking to take the next step in their career such as nailing a promotion, building a mentorship partnership, or negotiating a salary increase.

As we prepare leaders for the future of work, it is vital to underpin what changes are ahead. Leadership 2020 is to re-define the core principles of leadership. The transformation now has a name and a mission. Leadership 2020 means change.
We will be looking at how to carve a journey to the C-Level, how to run a department / business unit, how to ensure you have a voice an influence in the upper echelons of business and how to maintain your authenticity as a woman in a position of leadership.
Elephant in the Room
This session encourages healthy debate amongst peers. If you say there is an elephant in the room, you mean that there is an obvious problem or difficult situation that people do not want to talk about. Let’s talk about it.
